Storytime with Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream

It was storytime for 21 schools in California and Hawaii and I was delighted to read my book, ARLO DRAWS AN OCTOPUS to excited young listeners. It was all part of Olympic figure skater, Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation, whose mission is "ensuring children from low‑income families have access to high‑quality books in the home environment and extensive family engagement support." While young readers watched and listened on Zoom, they could also enjoy my fun activity guides and draw their own octopus masterpieces, just like ARLO did in my picture book, ARLO DRAWS AN OCTOPUS, illustrated by talented Rob Sayegh, Jr.
