After two long years of COVID shut downs, it was great to share my picture book ARLO DRAWS AN OCTOPUS at Ruby's Bookstore in Folsom, CA, on May 28, 2022. The May weather was simply perfect, and there were lots of young listeners who were eager to hear Arlo's story about drawing an octopus. The story was a gentle reminder that we're better than we may think and sometimes all it takes is a second look. Children who colored a picture of ARLO were entered in a drawing for a chance to win a prize. Prizes included a free copy of ARLO, and two packs of colored markers, each for a budding artist.
