We connected on Twitter and before you knew it, I was invited to share my nonfiction, rhyming picture book IN THE TREES, HONEY BEES! in a virtual visit with a wonderful 4th grade class at PS 174 in Queens, New York. So much to share! What honey bees do during the day and what they do at night. Where they go and what they do, from helping in the nursery to bringing nectar and pollen back to the hive.
Since my father-in-law was a beekeeper with over 300 hives, I was able to share his white bee suit, veiled hat, leather gloves, brush, and smoker. Thanks for being such good listeners and asking such great questions, PS174!
